What Matters

It appears that many people, including myself, focus on details that just do not matter.
Every day I have to mindfully discard some of the negative thoughts I may focus on. When the negativity passes along, some things that happen to me may surface as bad luck or annoying things I may have to do and I say to myself, “I am going to be grateful and honored by the many good things that come along today. I am going to smile at every one I see and forget about those unhappy thoughts or feelings that come along. What matters is that I am well in mind, body and soul.”
