Solitude

Learning to be alone is a process that most people do not like to think about. But there is something truly special about solitude.
You can find places inside your soul that you did not know about that surface only from alone time where all is still and calm. No one else is speaking to you except yourself and your soul. You learn to think clearly and find pleasure in new details of a flower or clouds in the sky.
I have found that my writing and art, along with other creative time has increased and improved with extended time to myself.
I am no longer lonely but do seek out companionship when I feel the need. The only problem with being alone is knowing where I put my glasses and having someone to help me find them.
