Beginning with myself

Finding ways to be more optimistic begins with me.
I have to be mindful that maybe I am not as positive as I believe.
I begin with a mind, body and soulful scan where I look for any tension or distress in my body.
Physical seems easier to detect but it also includes what I say to myself in my mind and soul. I can look happy and content on the outside but miserable internally.
Today I will teach myself how to change the inside with some meditation.
There in my stillness, calmness comes in and settles my spiritual being in those tiny cracks of light that surface in my soul and enter my entire being.
Can you find space for yourself where there is peace?
