In the open

Seeing things through light and early sunsets as winter season will settle into darknss.
Shorter days open and I need to complete daily tasks before the sun sets.
Never rushing but noticing changes of lightness affecting my mood.
“I am nodding, up and down I go as I fight off an afternoon nap,” said Dee to Gloria, her mother.
Mother said, ” Do not fight anything that is good for you, allow things to unfold as there are positive results from napping a bit in the afternoon where dreams surface and bring you the rest that you need.”
Sleepiness lingers early in late afternoon as a grayness appears as I turn on a light to read.
I decide not to fight off dreamy times in life.
