Shadows of the past, present and future

I will be your shadow.
The place you go to when you are alone.
And never alone you will be because I will be there. You will know that I am here by the whispers in the trees, blue birds flying by and the sun shining brightly. Even on dull days where the sun is trying to peek out, I will be the white cloud that moves gently as the blue sky appears for you.

 
I will be the shadow of your past which you grieved and now trust that it is behind you.
I will be the  shadow of your future where you need to be patient and honor what is to come.
I will be the shadow of your present. the now place where things just are, and you can smile because you feel me behind, in front and by your side giving you a hug.
