Staying Stable

Stable

Each day I find a way to bring stability to my mind, body and soul. Sometimes it is difficult because I feel instabilities in some area. Perhaps it is an ache or pain, an emotion, some stress. Whatever I struggle with during my daily events, I keep in mind that balancing and harmonizing my day is a good thing to think about and work at.

Stress-less

Stress in our lives is something we can not escape from. It can be mildly annoying or consuming our entire being.

Be somewhere in the middle with your stressful days by first realizing that there may be some things that you can do to alleviate it, but not every time. Sometimes you just have to wade through the waters, feeling the calmness of the waves; seeing clearly down to the bottom of peaceful waters. But sometimes there is no reason that things seem to turn upside down and the waves consume you as you tread water trying to stay afloat, and you do.

Settle down

Find ways each day to settle yourself; listening to calming music that brings a smile to your face, or taking that long walk to nowhere but it is somewhere in your vision of sweet harmony that settles you into thinking of nothing but breathing in and breathing out slow and evenly throughout the day.

Memories that calm

Think of those times in life that brought on a smile; bringing on a peaceful moment that you can savor in your mind’s eye to help you through stressful times.

My vision is of my children scampering through the yard as they chase each other playing hide and seek, “I found you behind that rock, now you are it.”
