When I have garden thoughts in my head, my mind feels full of color and bliss. In the winter you may believe there is not much color, but it is there for you if you look closely.
You can still see the beauty in the browns, reds and touches of greens that cover the landscape of life.
And when you add yoga, the feeling is more profound. Most of the time yoga is like a slow dance that moves through your mind, body and soul. You bend and stretch to the sky with arms wide open, catching your inner wisdom. You can focus on your breath alone and not feel caught up in anything. Just breathe in harmony and breathe out any discontent for the moment.
A negative thought?
There is no room for anything negative during a yoga practice.
Thoughts are full of gardens and birds flying softly in the sky. And if you have a fleeting bad thought, it goes by you like a summer breeze.
Braving the Storms
Even when the weather is not what you would like, it does not matter if you are doing yoga. It takes over and allows you to forget about what the weather is doing!
Yoga gives you garden thoughts of bright greens and yellows, helping you to focus on your internal being and keeping it well in mind, body and spirit.
Move slowly or briskly through Warrior poses gazing through your hand, looking deeply into a space that allows you to be free, yet frozen in the moment.
Yin asanas can deeply stretch you hips with pigeon pose, staying in this asana and feeling the deepness of your hips planted on the floor, sinking into the mat.
Stay planted in melting heart as your arms and shoulders get a deep stretch, melting down as your heart center feels still and warm.
Shoe-lace your legs and drop your head to your knees, staying there for a deep hip stretch that softly stretches your hip joints.

Find your way through life with a smile on your face to help you become centered, balanced and in harmony with this moment in life.
