Special Times and Special People

The beauty of trees in the wintertime. They make crisp crackling sounds as you walk along your path, listening to your life.
There are special people in your life that you take with you wherever you go. Even in the physical sense, they are with you standing close, maybe even looking over your shoulder in spirit, even hugging and comforting you as you walk down the path of life.
No matter how hard you try, you may not be able to recreate those special moments with special people in your life, especially after they pass on.
The people who are still with you know that the past is the past, and for the future no one knows what is in store.
Special Moments
The only moments we have are in the here and now.
So find ways to create new moments that are meaningful. Do not forget how precious those days were, but let them be in the past.
Grieving is like that too. When you lose someone, you go through a process of letting go. Some people seem to pass through quicker than others, or they may just hold more inside, finding silent ways to grieve losses.
Wearing your heart on the outside
I have been told by many people that I wear my heart on the outside; telling others how I feel, and asking for solitude when others would rather not be alone.
Tears and Sadness
For some, losses are overwhelming, there are so many tears and sadness seems to last forever.
But you will come through the grief when you are ready to, finding comfort in others who may have been there, or all alone in silence, prayer or meditation.
Whatever it takes, whatever you need to do, it is whatever is right for you at this moment in time.
