If you really think about it, the only time in your life is right now. Your past is gone, and the future will never be clear, so focus on this present moment in the here and now of things.
IF you begin to live presently, your life will change for the better.
When you stop living in the past or future, you can take better care of your mind, body and spirit. Think about what you can do to attain this balance in life. Maybe all you have to do is walk more or eat better, or even mend some relationships. Maybe all you need to do is sit down and write some things down that bring clarity to your present moment.
Focus
In yoga, you learn about focus. You concentrate on your asanas (poses) and stay with that stillness in silence. Take some silent time today to focus on you.
My daily meditative walks help me to focus on myself in my mind and soul, but they also help me physically with balance, strength and flexibility. By walking fast and then slowing down to get the heart rate up and back again, you can give your body the stress it needs to stay well.
Mind Work
Trying to clear the mind of all the rubble can be difficult. Focus on just being in moment, watching and gazing at the beauty before you in silence.
Being in the moment, slow down and settle down. All thoughts that come to mind, allow them to pass by like a soft butterfly moving past your gaze. Remember that they are just thoughts, not good or bad, just thoughts in the mind, taking up some space.
Spiritual Living: Calm, Centered, Grounded and Planted
Calm breathing can slow yourself down.
Calming, centering and grounding time can allow your spiritual side to evolve slowly with meaning and purpose to living. Learn how to breathe slowly to slow down yourself. And learn how to channel your internal energies, allowing a good flow throughout your body. Acupressure and tapping can help to open these energies.

Some sage and rosemary can help you with your calming for the day. Cooking with herbs or making tea can soothe and center you for the day.
Plant Yourself
Plant yourself firmly into the Earth at this moment in time, not the past or the future. The present moment is all that we have. Like a tree, planted, grounded, stable and strong.
