I am very interested in staying healthy and trim. I created a berry scone treat for myself this morning, and it is very good.
Here are the ingredients:
2 cups of flour
1/2 cup almond milk
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon orange zest
1/4 cup canola oil
1/4 cup Stevia
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup berries of your choice. I used cranberries which were dried
2 tablespoons corn meal
Soak the berries in almond milk and oil for 5 minutes
Mix dry ingredients first and slowly add oil mix with other wet ingredients
Mix well and add a two tablespoons of corn meal at the end for a dryer mixture.
Roll out into 8-10 scones depending on what size you like onto a sprayed pan.
Cook for 8-10 minutes and eat warm!
