If you are wondering around in life thinking that you have all the time in the world to do the things you want to do, you better check again.
You can lose sight of your dreams, and take life day by day without thinking about what you need to do, or what you want out of life.
You may need to make some decisions about things that you want to do–right now!
If you put it off too long, you will never do it. And the regrets later on in life will be hard to deal with.
Begin today by writing down what it is you need to accomplish before you die.
It may sound a bit morbid, but do you want to leave this world without doing those special things in life that you hoped you would accomplish?
How can you plan?
1. The first thing to do is write, write, write.
One of my goals is to learn more about alternative therapies. I have been self-studying and reading.
I keep reading everything I can find on the topic that I have interest in, and I practice the skills I need to develop. I keep a diary of my progress on my plan, and read it as I progress toward my goal.
2. Talk with like minds. I spend time talking about my goals with people who have similar goals. They give me ideas on how to improve my goal. People who have the same kind of goal as you do may be able to help you in many different ways, including partnering with them.
3. Nothing is too outrageous. If you want to learn how to sky dive, that is a great goal. You need to be in really good shape for sky diving, therefore your first step may be to begin walking or riding a bike to get into shape.
4. Do not quit. Your goals and plans are unique and valuable to you. Do not let others talk you out of what you want to do. If you want to go back to school to improve your career, do it. Plan it well, and make sure you have a good chance of accomplishing your goals by having everything covered, including the tuition and time to do all the homework!
