It Is Time For Some Spring Fun
Saw my first robin today.
She was among a group of black birds.
Tried to take a picture of her, but she flew away. The rest of the birds stayed and sang their song of spring.
The sound of birds singing sent me to the window to see what was going on. It looked like a bird party. Singing, dancing, picking at the ground for some worms. I got out my camera and took a few shots of their party and the realized, yes, it must be spring.
It was an unusual happening for me. The gathering of birds while I sat at my computer.
They were looking at me! Trying to decide whether they should fly away from fear of my humanness.
When spring is in the air, even the birds become curious of what is going on. We are like birds. In the springtime we have to do some things to clear out the dust.
Spring cleaning, the first time you open the window, are all significant moments to cherish as the weather starts to clear. Now is the time to start anew some things that we had on the back burner because it was just too cold to do- like get outside and dance.
Dance like the birds. Sing your song and begin to use those extra day light hours to do something outdoors.
Think of springtime as starting over. Begin some new goals that you have been thinking about. Make some plans to take a trip. It does not have to be far, just go somewhere you have not been.
With the extra energy you seem to have in the springtime, do something for someone else. Play your part in paying something forward.
Volunteer and help some people who need you.
