It is so much fun watching crafters do their thing. Here in San Diego, at Old Town, Crafters are selling and showing off their crafts!
Finding out what you truly enjoy
Did you ever notice how engrossed a person can be when they are working on something that they truly enjoy doing?
My passion has always been crafting, so I am always very interested in what other crafters are doing.
It is important to find your groove in life so that you have a planned activity that helps you to feel better, especially in times of stress or even grief.
Doing things with your hands can help you to not only keep the muscles in your hands well tuned, but the finished product can be wonderful too. And you can share your gift with others.
It becomes a gift in life because after you practice your craft for a long time, you get very good at it. Remember that practice makes perfect~
Things to Practice
It is also a good idea to practice things that you are rusty at. I have been practicing some breathing techniques lately, to help me to relax. I am convinced that people grab a pill all to often, when all they needed was to practice how to be calm. I have found that art work helps me with that too. I have never been stressed out while creating something~~
Open your Spirit
Opening your spirit to some new ideas and creativity can help you to get in touch with your inner spirit. The one that is silent but wanting to create and be active.
I believe that everyone has a creative side that they have not tapped into yet. Find out what yours is, and then practice, practice, practice your craft.
Finding your Strengths
What can help to keep you well is finding things that you are good at. It is easier to strengthen yourself. What in the past have you done that you were good at? People of all ages have found new and creative ways to make their lives more meaningful. Maybe you are good working with your hands, or maybe you are good at computers and can put together a program that others could use.
Maybe taking old things and turning them into something usable is your cup of tea. I think that everything has a dual purpose, and I love to recreate things, turning trash in to treasures for others~~
