When you think about it, you have more control over your destiny than you think you do.
I am not just talking about thinking more positively, I believe that speaking and writing positive, inspiring thoughts can really generate a more positive you.
Louis Hay, in her book Empowering Women, writes about it often. She believes that you can improve the quality of your life by making some positive changes.
Every day you should speak on how safe, happy and secure you are in life. And if you are not~ make the changes that will make you become more fulfilled.
And remember that what we think and say becomes our reality.
Noticing your thoughts
Begin to notice when you are having bad thoughts.
Learn a mindful way of getting rid of those bad thoughts.
When you have a bad thought- allow it to surface in your mind’s eye, but do not ponder on it, let it go. Let it go to the wind! You can think up much better thoughts to replace the bad ones.
I like to visualize myself in a boat floating down the river, just being still with slight breezes touching my face.
My eyes are closed and I am breathing very slowly, gazing at the sunset. It is beautiful and peaceful.
Remember that your answers are right there before you
You know what you want in your life. If you begin to explore within yourself, you will find a more positive you.
Do not just wish for things~ plan with a step by step approach. Begin a loving relationship with yourself by becoming the person you have always wanted to be. Someone who smiles, laughs, and lives life fully.
You can have your wish list that you prioritize, but don’t just put it to the side. Make plans on how you will succeed. When we change our thinking, people begin to treat us better. They like being around us. The entire world will respond to you differently when you speak positive, powerful words.
