Find your center and balance through some simple yoga poses. They can really help you with stress in your life.
Mountain pose is very helpful. Stand very tall, feet together arms at your sides. Keep a strong foundation with your legs and your stomach firm and strong. Reach up tall through your head as if you are a puppet and someone is pulling your head straight up from your crown. Look straight ahead and breathe deeply and consistently for at least 5 breaths.
Now reach your arms straight up, and inhale as you do so. Reach your hands up, shoulder width apart as high as you can while you look straight ahead. Do not hunch your shoulder, and do relax your neck. Take at least 5 more deep, cleansing breaths.
Forward Bend: from your mountain pose with arms overhead begin to bend your knees slightly. Inhale, and on the exhale, slowly bend forward from your waist. Place your hands on the floor alongside your feet, or if you have the flexibility, grasp your ankles. Keep your back straight and your neck soft. Breathe deeply for at least 5 more long breaths.
