I love this time of year. It is great to see the colors change into bright oranges and yellows. I took a few pictures of the splendor of autumn and I am steaming some orange squash that I purchased at the market last Saturday. This week I hope to take some long walks and cook some simple meals.
Before the cold sets in in New York, it is great to get outdoors and smell the freshness. Just being part of the changes of seasons is a blessing.
Last Saturday I spent time at the Farmer’s Market in Hamburg, New York with my favorite person, Mary.
She and I shared the wonderful smells and colors of the day. I hope for many more fun times with my friend.
The healthiest foods of the season are upon us. Enjoy the fall, it is always a wonderful experience! Eat some apples every day!
The saying, ” An apple a day keeps the doctor away.” is true!

Thank-you to my favorite friend in the world. You make everything we do together so much sweeter! Thanks for being a friend…Luv ya.
I am so glad that you enjoyed going to the market with me. Let’s do it again before it is over this year. Winter will be here before you know it. You are such a good friend. Love you, Doris
