The Fall Harvest: The Farmer’s Market 2012

The concord grapes are sweet and tart at the same time. I love them fresh from the Farmer’s Market!

I love this time of year. It is great to see the colors change into bright oranges and yellows. I took a few pictures of the splendor of autumn and I am steaming some orange squash that I purchased at the market last Saturday. This week I hope to take some long walks and cook some simple meals.

Before the cold sets in in New York, it is great to get outdoors and smell the freshness. Just being part of the changes of seasons is a blessing.

Last Saturday I spent time at the Farmer’s Market in Hamburg, New York with my favorite person, Mary.

She and I shared the wonderful smells and colors of the day. I hope for many more fun times with my friend.

The healthiest foods of the season are upon us.  Enjoy the fall, it is always a wonderful experience! Eat some apples every day!

The saying, ” An apple a day keeps the doctor away.” is true!

Look at the bright colors of all the veggies!
