I love apple butter, and it is so very easy to make, you just boil and blend it for a delight that is good for months in the refrigerator.
2 cups sliced apples
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
2 cups unsweetened apple juice
Mix all ingredients into a large saucepan and bring to boil
Lower heat and simmer, covered for 20 minutes
Remove the mixture from heat and cool before putting into blender
or food processor
Blend mix until sooth, or the consistency you like
Cool at room temperature and then refrigerated in a tightly covered container
This recipe makes 2 cups of apple butter
