We all know how great garlic is to our bodies. Medicinally, garlic helps us fight off bacteria and fungi in the bodies, and it is great for your heart. Garlic also ranks as a sodium free herb, but has a great taste! It also ranks as the best source of the mineral selenium which is one of the nutrients cancer researchers have cited for its impressive antioxidant properties!

Here is a recipe that will go with just about any meal.I like it with pata meals.

Ingredients:2 cups whole wheat flour ( optional, add 1 cup white instead of 2 wheat)
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teap salt
3 cloves garlic minced
1/4 cup olive oil or canola
1 egg or egg substitute (1 tesp dry)
1/4 cup rice or almond milk
1/4 cup grated cheese ( optional)
Start with dry ingredients, and add garlic.  Add wet ingredients to dry, using a rubber spatula to mix. When dough becomes stiff, us your hands to form into ball.
Oil a 8 1/2 in round cake pan
Press dough into the pan and use a sharp knife to make eight wedge-shaped cuts 1/4 inch deep.
Bake until lightly brown, about 35-40 minutes
Cool and serve in wedges
Makes 1 loaf
