>Walking in the Winter

>
Walking for pleasure and walking for a good calorie burn!

I believe that one of the best quality exercise is power walking! I have been doing it for years, and I believe that it is the best form of exercise for everyone.

Even people who are just beginning an exercise routine can start with walking.

You begin by making a goal. I started with one mile, and now I probably do at least 3 or 4 miles each and every day.

It is also not hard to begin, you do not need special equipment. All you need is a good pair of sneakers and maybe some boots for winter walking ( with cleats).
I use cleats for winter time walking. They make the exercise a little more challenging because it feels as hard as walking in sand!
And we all know that walking in sand is supposed to be a great way to burn calories.

So if you are just beginning to think about an exercise program, and do not want to go to a gym or buy expensive equipment, try walking.

The other added benefit of walking is meeting new people.

I have many new friends that I acquired through walking.

There are many people who would love to take a walk with you!
