In Chinese Medicine illness is caused when the body’s natural energy is impeded. Chinese medicine calls this vital energy your “qi.”
The ancient Indian system of Yoga and Ayurveda call it “prana.”
So open up your spirit and let some life energy in!
According to the Chinese, the qi is, ” invisible, formless, and indispensable,” circulating through the body, warming us, protecting us against illness, and giving us vitality!
Practitioners use Yoga, Tai chi, acupuncture and acupressure to bring the body back into balance by finding where the flow of energy may be interrupted, and then using movement, breath, stimulation or massage to free this vital energy in the body and correct the imbalance in the system. There is evidence that Yoga was practiced as early as 3000 B.C.
Yoga strengthens the immune system, relaxes tension, and keeps the body strong and limber.
