This is the time of year when we really need balance, especially nutritionally. We seem to need to eat more when we feel cold, and the lack of sun (especially in Buffalo) can mean that we may need some extra Vitamin D in our diet.
Take some time for balance today. Balance in your time with family, friends, work and play. Balance in nutrition ( staying away from the goodies) and eating well.
“Autumn is the season of gathering nautre’s products before winter’s rest. Fruits, vegetables, nuts and grains are abundant; for example, citrus fruits, grapes, apples, pears, tomatoes, walnuts, sunflower seeds, brown rice, corn and wheat. As symbols of harvest and Halloween, squashes and pumpkins become plentiful by mid-autumn.
In- balance: adaptability, relaxation, breathing deep, balanced intake.
Imbalance: Resisting change, drugs, shallow breathing, nervous eating, apprehension”
