>Make your own Granola


2 1/2 old fashioned oatmeal ( the kind that takes more than a few moments to cook)
1 cup chopped nuts (any kind)
1 cup shredded coconut
1/2 cup ground flaxseed
1/2 cup brown sugar ( or substitite stevia)
1/2 cup canola oil
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon vanilla extract1/4 cup honey (or agave)
Preheat oven to 275 degrees. In a  mixing bowl combine oats, nuts, coconut and flaxseed. In another ready for microwaving bowl, mix sugar, oil honey, cinnamon and vanilla until it bubbles.
Pour over oats and mix well.
Spray cookie sheet with non-stick spray and spread mixture thinly onto cooking sheet.
Bake for 15 minutes and stir. Bake another 15 minutes or until golden.
Cool and store in an airtight container.
