>1 can tomato paste
1 cup water
At least 3 kinds of beans
(pinto, black, soy)
1 Can garbonzo beans
1 Cup corn
1 clove garlic
Cayanne pepper and chili powder to taste
Make sure you drain and rinse all beans
before adding to the chili mixture.
Start by placing 1 can tomato paste in a pan with 1 tbsp olive oil,
cayanne pepper, 1 clove garlic or a tsp of garlic powder and 1 cup water.
( you may need more than one cup water depending
on how thick you would like the chili)
While the sauce is cooking, prepare the garbonzo beans by using
a potato masher and mash until the consistency of a paste.
( this is your “meat” for the chili)
After the sauce has cooked a few minutes, add garbonzo paste, the corn,
beans and a jar of commercial salsa (if desired)
Cook for approx 20 minutes and enjoy!
