Stable

Each day I find a way to bring stability to my mind, body and soul. Sometimes it is difficult because I feel instabilities in some area. Perhaps it is an ache or pain, an emotion, some stress. Whatever I struggle with during my daily events, I keep in mind that balancing and harmonizing my day is a good thing to think about and work at.

Looking back with love

By the lake with its loving waves and wondrous horizon

A memory flashed through my mind as I took my daily walk. It was a good memory of mom calling me honey and sending me off to mail a letter for her. I walked up the long driveway, carefully crossing the street and mailing the letter.
I honor this look back at love as a small gift of helping mom get her letter posted.  A simple task that I thought was lost as a memory due to its insignificance but it was to be remembered today.

Finding your Rhythm

Finding your rhythm today through experiences that bring on a smile

Finding your rhythm today through experiences that bring on a smile

Every day I try my best to find the rhythm of my inner self.

You know that place where everything seems balanced and in harmony like nature.
But nature is not always harmonized; casting its thunder, rain, snow and icy ways or warm, sunny mellow days to the earth each and every day.

Something Simple

There is so much information on how to put balance into your life. But we need to find our own way through some soul searching.
Soul searching can consist of looking deeper into yourself for some guidance, or outside of yourself with nature. I have always found water scenes to give me the most harmonious pleasure.

The blueness of water and its constant movement  is soothing, giving a sense of calmness and peace; a meditative state that you may be  looking for.

Why Water Is So Very Important

Jul 4th, 2012 Posted in Preventing Diseases | no comment »

Water is important!

When they tell you to drink more water- do it. The average person just does not drink enough. The old 8 glasses of water a day may seem like a wife’s tale but hydration is important to keep the body running smoothly. It would be like not putting oil into your car. What happens to it? Maybe not right away- but soon the car will not run at all. So take water seriously, especially in the summer months when you could risk dehydrating yourself.
