Broken Toys

Powerful times

Powerful times

When Sasha was a child she always brought her broken toys to her mother for fixing, “I know it may be too late to fix this dolly but mom, can you please try?”

Mom seemed to have the magic touch; stitching the colorful blue eye back into place on the cloth doll that had many years of wear. Sasha would be amazed at her mom’s ability to fix just about anything.

And when Sasha grew up she still came to mom for fixing; finding that mom was able to help fix just about anything in life by listening to Sasha’s problems.

What to do with tears

Everyone tells me that tears are cleansing

Stand strong like a tree

Stand strong like a tree

Your body rids itself gracefully with tiny tears or large tears pouring down.
And they are warm, salty and refreshing after you have a good cry but sometimes there are too many tears.
Emotional states in our lives create those tearful times and you will find that they come and go but not before there is readiness to move on.

Finding just one blissful moment

Looking Closely

If you look closely at your life, you will see that there were  many times that were full of wonder; even blissful awakenings that you savor now as you gaze back.

Is it because you make blissful moments for yourself, or is it because it just is?

Walk in the sand without your shoes and feel something today.

Walk in the sand without your shoes and feel something today

We wander around in life with the notion that we always  need happiness, but is it happiness we seek, or is it just the thought of it?

Just Like Mom

I want to be like my mom because she was so tolerant of everyone, even those people who she should not have even spoken to, she never let them know how she felt. She was like her name; an angel who could not hurt anything; someone there for everyone.

Trees are just beautiful, even without spring buds. They dance in front of our eyes, as the blue sky peeks through

Trees are just beautiful. They dance in front of our eyes, as the blue sky peeks through

And it was not as if she was holding onto things or holding things inside, it was just the way she was.
