You Cannot Have Too Many Friends

Jul 12th, 2016 Posted in A Spiritual Path | no comment »

Jason said to Dee, ” Life has been good to me. I can talk about my past with a smile. Things in life happen, good and bad but you cannot have too many friends. Friends are so important to life; caressing your soul with their words and deeds. ”

Dee said with a smile, “So very glad that I met you Jason.

You bring sunshine into a rainy day with your stories that make me smile.”

Listening

Listening to nature

Fall brings on its colorful waves of energy

Fall brings on its colorful waves of energy

As I walk, I listen to the leaves dropping their crunchy ways as they tap me on the shoulder. Yesterday a brown and gold crunchy leaf dropped directly on the top of my head, staying there until I scraped it off. It made me smile thinking how funny I would look if I left it there. You hear the sounds if you carefully listen to the seasonal changes; the scattering of the leaves, the smells so soft like cinnamon and cloves.

Positive and energizing ways

I need to convince myself on a daily basis to stay positive and then this healing energy surfaces throughout my being, sending it off to others.

Don't miss anything today. Even if it is just to stop and skip a stone.

Don’t miss anything today. Even if it is just to stop and skip a stone.

It is a difficult adventure at times; focusing on the positive when it is much easier to stay in a funk.
But when you are in a bad mood it seems to last forever, passing it along to others on your path who will listen. And those listening people are tainted by you funky mood; bringing some negative vibes to them.
So if you want to get out of your own dilemma and do some good for others, stay as optimistic and hopeful as you can.
Hope stands for:
Honor
Optimism
Purposeful

I remember bliss

As far back as I can remember I sat quietly listening to the sounds of silence

The color yellow is calming to me; my silent blissful color

The color yellow is calming to me; my silent blissful color

Whether it was silently looking at flowers as they softly swayed like music in the air, or the quietness and morning sparkle of the milky dew on the grass as I walked to my daily path.

Sometimes the silence was late as night while I lie awake, and sometimes it was just  silent sounds; the ones without voices that sing quietly and loudly as I walk through life.

She Stood Strong, no matter what

Some are stronger than others

She was always strong, no matter what the circumstances in life. You could see it in her large brown eyes, the eyes of a person who had been through many difficulties in life, but was able to manage beyond most.

Why was she so weathered by life? It was years of staying in a bad relationship when she deserved more.

She loved being near water. She said it helped her to feel calm and centered

She was a slight person, and you would think that a strong wind could take  her off her feet but nothing ever knocked her down.
