Embrace

Embrace

You may think that things crash for you every once in awhile but if you really think about it, there are so many nice things in life that happen, and you may be missing them because you are not looking deep enough.

Every Day

I go there every single day in the summertime
Climbing the steps of wonder

Climbing the steps of wonder

As spring approaches my desire to beach comb and feel the softness of sand between my toes increases as the days grow longer with wonderful sun shiny days and beautiful sunsets.

Focusing on my balance and strength I stumble through the large rocks and glassy green sharps. And I love the chances that I take  because I know that I am just one step from falling but also one step toward a strong center of self-love.

The Beach House

Sally lived near water most of her life in a beach house not far from the water’s edge. For some reason Sally always came back to the beach, circling back as an adult in this moment.

Her beach house was very tiny so she had to be  careful about how much she collected;  there was not much room for her treasures from past homes, and many of her things were too large to take along and she had to leave them behind.
It was a good thing that Sally did not treasure too many things in life. She would often say, “Things are just things. We need to treasure people and the time we have on this earth to be silent and in touch with nature.”

Like puzzle pieces, stones fit together, but unlike a puzzle, you can stack stones without having to fit them a certain way

Each day become stronger in your practice of meditation.

Be as strong as a tree in your conviction to follow through with your practice of meditation because it will help you so very much.

Start out with mindful breathing in and breathing out; concentration begins with the breath.  You become one with your breath, never deviating from the moment where you are breathing in and breathing out. Staying in the mindful moments of your stillness of mind, body and spirit.
