Old Souls

Old souls are like trees that grow very slowly, touching the earth with their beauty and grace

“I believe I am an old soul who has been around for many years.  I have been in touch with my inner self and I count on it for inspiration and insight. I know that soulful ways are developed as are many skills we learn in life. And I have learned many lessons that have brought me to a center of calmness and graceful movements like a swaying and crackling  branch on a strong, yet flexible tree that catches a warm summer breeze,” said Gloria as she gazed at the coldness of a winter day with its forceful winds that spray sparkles of icy whiteness, shimmering in the sunlight.

Stay with it

Are you looking for something? Diving and soaring across the sky, finding yourself

Silence in stillness of comforting waters

Stick to your plan; the one thing in your life that propels you forward with motivation and momentum as your guide.

Be the person that you want to be; offering others guidance along with keeping yourself centered and balanced.

Flow
Do not give into the troubling world; the one where worry seems to flow into the quiet stillness that you have right now.
Be the flow that others find enriching; blues, reds and yellow hues of softness seem to explode from your being; drawing others on your path into an endless, all consuming wonder; where everything is kind and loving.

It’s all good

Standing strong like a tree with your branches swaying in the wind

Remember that it is all good, even those troubling times that you seem to pass through in slow motion.
With great speed the good things seem to move by you before you had a chance to be grateful.

When are you going to wake up and find that it is all good?
Even on those ugly days without a drop of orange and yellow sunshine, there is good news; you are here for one more day, counting your blessings.

Every Day

I go there every single day in the summertime
Climbing the steps of wonder

Climbing the steps of wonder

As spring approaches my desire to beach comb and feel the softness of sand between my toes increases as the days grow longer with wonderful sun shiny days and beautiful sunsets.

Focusing on my balance and strength I stumble through the large rocks and glassy green sharps. And I love the chances that I take  because I know that I am just one step from falling but also one step toward a strong center of self-love.

Still Waves

Watch and you will see still waves forming in the lake as winter takes over

Frozen stillness

Frozen stillness

Those waves are there for you to realize that you must be still sometimes to feel grounded and in harmony. When the lake slowly freezes; holding in its glory for spring, we too hold still for a moment, capturing time stopping.

The stillness of the lake and its wonderful blue and white waves form around you and if you are a person who loves challenges you go to that spot where everything is still either physically or in meditation with your soulful waves of energy.
