Wonders of children and animals

Whenever I want to smile I think about or play with children and animals.

Children and animals  seem to have a lot in common because they give love without expecting anything in return. They are always there, right by your side, looking at you with joy in their eyes.

This afternoon when I went for a walk, I saw a large gray dog with blue eyes on his front porch. He wasn’t chained and his family was not near, and he looked at me and came down the step to greet me as I approached him.

As you age you may begin to see that you do not have as much stamina as your earlier years and you have to push a little harder to stay in shape, sit up straight and move your body.

Remember when you were a kid playing with your friends in a big pile of leaves? Those laughing and playing times helped you to be happy and balanced. Play with your friends again!

I love to laugh and sometimes I feel that crying is sort of the same thing.

Crying can be a way to get the bad things out of your body. Laughing and crying seem to have a lot in common.

Purposeful Play

When was the last time you had some fun?

Children have fun all the time, especially at the playground. They could probably stay there all day if you let them. I tried it with my grand kids a few days ago. I stayed at the playground for the amount of time the children wanted to stay. It was about 2 hours.

So, if you think about some special, creative things that you want to do with your life, it should probably take about 2 hours every time you explore something new. I love to write, and this passion of mine has been growing stronger in the past year. I created over 300 blog posts on various topics that I feel can help people to stay healthy in mind, body and soul!
