Finding passion rowing in the ocean

Finding passion rowing in the ocean

“What are you looking for?” said Gloria as she spoke to Dee about what to do with life.

Dee who was a teenager at the time, felt that she had a long time to choose;  not that interested in making future plans that seemed too  far to reach. Surrounded by joyful moments in her present life;playing with life was fun. You do not have to make changes or choices when you are young, you can just let things be as they are.

Why do we resist?

Rolls of cement; circling and protecting from the rough waters of winter

Challenges in life

New things can be good.
We all know that there is good in everything that happens, even those times in life that seem very challenging can become lessons learned well.

I challenge myself to find things that are different. On my almost daily walks on the beach I take pictures of rough edged things that capture my mind, body and soul.

Swaying to and fro

When I think of you I believe in the power of the swaying of tree branches in the wind

I see you behind the green and brown colors of nature standing strong like a tree

I see you behind the green and brown colors of nature standing strong like a tree

You can hear them as they crinkle and as you look up you see the contrast of the dark branches with the gray or blue sky. Just like your life, there is always some gray and blue with clarity in both colors if you look closely. Looking closely will bring you to the deepness of colors that are healing; feeling the deep browns, greens and reds of nature, waking you up to the energy they give.

Secure with you

You may want someone to be with you in your journey through life; giving you that security you think you need on a cold winter’s night or at the end of the work week when you would like to have someone with you.

Confidence

Even with the cold and frosty ways of winter, trees stand strong and centered as we should

Even with the cold and frosty ways of winter, trees stand strong and centered as we should

You need to work at security within yourself before you can find it in others.

And your  new found confidence gives you the feeling that you need no one but yourself and then it is not security that you look for, it is love.
