Changing your Mood

Feb 17th, 2014 Posted in Mental Wellness | no comment »

In the winter, you may have a hard time  keeping your mood stable and your mind out of the blues.
Some good ways to combat these depressive moments can be  with music.
Positive moments with soft, loving music can create a mood shift. You will find that you even think better and feel much more relaxed with some background music. It is amazing how music can change your mood and perspective in just a moment in time.

Whenever you are feeling down, angry, full of anxiety, try some soothing music to calm and balance your soul. Music digs deep down into your soul, helping you to harmonize yourself and others who may benefit from you turning on the soft tunes.

What Really Matters

There will come a time when you realize what and who really matters in your life.

It is not about the things you have, or your career, it is about you and the people who are important to you.
Awaken and find where you want to be, and who you want to be with.

Watch what you think. Have some positive moments!

Watch your thoughts and then change them to more pleasant moments. You may ruminate on things that you cannot do anything about. When this happens, remember the Serenity Prayer:  God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.-  Reinhold Niebuhr, 1943

Spring Into Orange Dressing

At the Beach

I love oranges and a salad dressing made out of the juice of an orange sounds great. I am bringing this recipe to you from tasting it at many California restaurants. Since I am Vegan, I had a lot of salads while I dined in San Diego. Here is my interpretation of what is in the dressings that I had while vacationing. Hoping followers of my daily blog did not miss me too much.

I went to a wedding in San Diego, California. My nephew Brian. He married a beautiful girl named Nicole. It was a great wedding with lots of added attractions such as Hawaiian dancers.
