Mindful Ways

May 30th, 2015 Posted in A Spiritual Path | no comment »

As you age, you begin to accept the way things are

You become a person with a watchful eye; gazing at beautiful scenes in nature and loving each moment you have right now in the moment.

Hidden paths

Hidden paths

Begin today by becoming mindful of your many senses.

Physical

Be mindful of your physical senses such as hunger and you will not have difficulties with your weight. Mindful eating consists of slowing yourself down and tasting each bite. Mindful hunger pangs help you to feel a hunger burst coming on, and if you comply by eating something right away you will not binge later on. Be in touch with your inner guide and you will slow down, breathe and then you will find that meals are a pleasure.

Positive and energizing ways

I need to convince myself on a daily basis to stay positive and then this healing energy surfaces throughout my being, sending it off to others.

Don't miss anything today. Even if it is just to stop and skip a stone.

Don’t miss anything today. Even if it is just to stop and skip a stone.

It is a difficult adventure at times; focusing on the positive when it is much easier to stay in a funk.
But when you are in a bad mood it seems to last forever, passing it along to others on your path who will listen. And those listening people are tainted by you funky mood; bringing some negative vibes to them.
So if you want to get out of your own dilemma and do some good for others, stay as optimistic and hopeful as you can.
Hope stands for:

Optimism

Intuition

Just when you thought everything was ready for you to take the next step, intuition steps into your life

Your intuitive sense of being sees behind those blades of grass

That thought deep down inside of you is your spirit that you may need to pay attention to carefully in order to plan those detailed moments in life.

That feeling comes and goes but when it stays with you, you better listen to it because deep down into your soul, your spirit knows which path you should take down the road in life.

Hoping can help

Dreams and hopes do get you somewhere.

Grow some sage; it helps medicinally with many things such as memory and being calm as does lavender

There is much evidence on people who are hopeful, smile, act kindly and dream about better times.
You do literally drown yourself in tears if you stay there too long. There is not a official time on grief and sorrow but my nana thought so.

Grief and dying

Where did I leave my happy thoughts?

Moving on to  the positive side of living

Like the Peter Pan story, all that you need is to think a happy thought and things get better in life. And there is research on the theory that people who smile more, stay more positive and are optimistic, not only live longer, they are happier people.

When you want to changes something about yourself and  you feel a lot of negative energy inside how do you move that negative energy out of your system?
