On the Positive Side

I feel like I have to work at being positive.

Where are you on the positive scale?

Watching water and its reflective qualities helps me to harmonize myself for the day. Just a short walk on a sunny day can bring about a mood change for the better.

Life is multicolored; bits of yellow, oranges and grays come in and out of your life

Optimism does not come naturally to me like it does for some.

I tend to fall into down moods on occasion and have to watch myself or I stay with it.
One of my favorite things to do when I am in a low mood is listen to music.

I am Hope

Hope circles around, spinning its warmth and kindness, telling you to hold on tight and never give up

Sometimes there are 2 choices, the road straight ahead or the one that may have a challenging curve to it taking you to a different place

Hope can give you inspiration and motivation to hold on to your dreams and make them a reality.

Sometimes I give up too soon on some of the things I really want to accomplish and the next time I do something new, I remind myself of this so that my staying power is longer.

Depression Traps

I write a lot about ways to feel better about yourself. Many people fall into traps of depression and have a hard time finding ways that help.
Staying in the present is a good way to help yourself. Try to stop dwelling on past bad experiences or thinking about what the future may bring. If you stay grounded in the present, you will feel better. Think about what you can do today- right now – to help yourself out of a problem situation. Feeling unworthy or guilty about anything is not going  solve difficulties in life.
