Powerful times

Shadows of the past, present and future

I will be your shadow.
The place you go to when you are alone.
And never alone you will be because I will be there. You will know that I am here by the whispers in the trees, blue birds flying by and the sun shining brightly. Even on dull days where the sun is trying to peek out, I will be the white cloud that moves gently as the blue sky appears for you.

Still Waves

Watch and you will see still waves forming in the lake as winter takes over

Frozen stillness

Frozen stillness

Those waves are there for you to realize that you must be still sometimes to feel grounded and in harmony. When the lake slowly freezes; holding in its glory for spring, we too hold still for a moment, capturing time stopping.

The stillness of the lake and its wonderful blue and white waves form around you and if you are a person who loves challenges you go to that spot where everything is still either physically or in meditation with your soulful waves of energy.

Mindful times

Mindful and healing ways

When I think mindfully sometimes shiny colors come to mind

When I think mindfully sometimes  visions of shiny colors come to mind

When you become mindful of everything around you then you can move toward one-pointedness where you become mindful of just one thought or breath.

In this way, you can begin to slow yourself and your body down; lowering your blood pressure, heart rate and breath. You can also lower your stress and anxiety though some mindful, healing ways because you are slow and quiet.

Some New Positive Changes

Dec 29th, 2014 Posted in A Spiritual Path | no comment »

Fill your calendar with some positive changes this year. Make your list, checking it off twice, and hang it near you to see each day. Find yourself today; that person that you used to be with the smile on your face and the warm hugs you always give to others. You are there underneath some of the sadness or unhappiness you are feeling right now; you can motivate yourself to begin a positive path.

Think of your favorite positive person; that uncle or aunt who always had a smile on their face, or a mentor who helped you with their positive ways. Open your heart, putting into action healing and optimistic ways.

Simple

When you begin to think simply, things in life become much easier but you may find it hard to get rid of some of the things in life that seem like memories for you to hang on to. But things are just things; there is no reason to hang on too long, especially if you need to de-clutter your life.

Life moves on without telling you, and you may have to move to a smaller home, or you may just have too many things; too many clothes, too many shoes! And this time of year is perfect for giving some of those things away for the upcoming holiday. There may be someone out there that could really use some of your things.
