Youthful ways

Examining life close up

Examining life close up

In youth  it was difficult to have confidence in myself, especially during difficult times. I would struggle trying to get by, hiding some of my flaws through laughter and a talkative nature.

Aging brings about needed confidence

As an older adult, there is no need  inside my heart center to call on my perfect ways that are not so perfect.

Today, I am who I am; crying, laughing, and even giggling like a child having a good time as I walk strong down the path of life.

One more time

Coming back to you

Things come back to you in different ways

Through the trees seeing the neighborhood's gardens

Things come back to you;  some are good and some not so good but they all come back to find you and you will feel this effect immediately or not so immediately in kindness that is reciprocated in moments unexpected.
You may not  remember the kind thoughts, deeds and actions that brought you to this time in life where good things just keep on pouring on to you, but if you are always kind and loveable, it will be returned to you in different ways.

Positive and energizing ways

I need to convince myself on a daily basis to stay positive and then this healing energy surfaces throughout my being, sending it off to others.

Don't miss anything today. Even if it is just to stop and skip a stone.

Don’t miss anything today. Even if it is just to stop and skip a stone.

It is a difficult adventure at times; focusing on the positive when it is much easier to stay in a funk.
But when you are in a bad mood it seems to last forever, passing it along to others on your path who will listen. And those listening people are tainted by you funky mood; bringing some negative vibes to them.
So if you want to get out of your own dilemma and do some good for others, stay as optimistic and hopeful as you can.
Hope stands for:
Honor
Optimism
Purposeful
Energy

Strength is a challenge

As spring arrives I think of the beauty of my garden with holly growing strongly

As spring arrives I think of the beauty of my garden with holly growing strongly

Every day I choose to be as strong as I can in mind, body and soul. And I have many mentors who have shown me how to challenge myself; becoming a positive presence to others. And I have not by any means become strong alone; powerful women are my guide each day.

When I have to do something physically difficult such as shoveling snow I think of women that I know who have brought a powerful presence to others.

A Wish for Happiness as Time passes

Happy me

My greatest goal in life is to find ways to be happy with myself first and then that happiness will begin to spill like a  blue sparkling waterfall splashing down on everyone with its positive energy and harmony. And I will feel blessed with this internal bliss that comes from my heart; spreading its wings to others in my path.

And when you smell lavender you calm yourself in the bliss of a happy day
