Here is a low calorie meal or side dish that is packed with protein. Serve it chilled.




I love autumn and its crisp smells. For an autumn side dish, I love quinoa. It is a grainĀ  powered by high protein! 9 grams per 1/4 cup serving.

Here is a simple recipe for Autumn Quinoa.

Follow the directions on the package for quinoa and cook. It usually calls for 1-1/2 cup of water to 1 cup grain. It cooks in about 12 minutes. Just like rice, bring to a boil and then simmer.
