Integrated Medicine

This approach goes beyond the  “Doctor, you fix it” type of medicine. No longer do we have a disease- and just give it a pill. We need to integrate other things into the scope of overall wellness and health.

Integrated medicine is a blend of different medicines for healing. In his book, Staying Healthy With The Seasons, Doctor Elson Haas speaks on the four aspects of Integrated medicine:

Add a walk to your day and find your path through life.

Add a walk to your day and find your path through life.

When you feel the weakest you are about to grow. Sometimes early in the spring when it is still cold here on the East Coast, we dread the weather because we want it to be warmer. Take whatever comes your way, and be thankful that you are here. The weather may not be exactly what you want, be you are here today. Be thankful and grateful for that.

The moment when you think that things cannot grow any dimmer, a light comes through the window, shining on you.

What to do about aging?

Do many people become more spiritual as they age?

Aging

The body and mind ages, but the spirit stays intact?   Yes and No!

I guess it can depend on how well you took care of yourself throughout the many years you have been on this earth. People who enriched all their areas of being are probably the healthiest!

Things to do that may slow down the aging process

You can still find your spiritual side of life by helping others which also helps you too. Finding ways such as volunteering your time can help you to feel accomplished, loving and spiritual.
