Just a little love

Broken and old

Bring yourself back to a time of living waves of enegy

Bringing yourself back

You may think that there are many things you have done in life that you regret or just want to put behind you right now but remember that any mistakes, even heart aches are lessons in life that you must go through.
Remember those broken toys you kept as a child?
I had a beautiful bride doll but one of her eyes closed and never re-opened. How could she be a beautiful bride now? I thought carefully and said to myself that it does not matter too much about her eye.

We are sturdy like a tree

You are sturdy

Trees stand strong even against the weight of heavy, drifting snow

Think of yourself as a tree with a strong center and long, strong and flexible arms that hold you in place when you need them to.

You stand straight and tall; holding yourself up with confidence and peaceful thoughts.

You are positive with words to others that help them along their journey and you give of yourself in ways that bring some needed energy to others; circling the Universe and dropping kindness down like a snowflake.
You know how sturdy you really are, and it shows on your face each day as you pass a friend, giving a wave, a warm embrace and a smile.

Teaching yourself to be in the present

It is difficult to stay in  the moment; not thinking about anything but your present moment in time. But if you want to be free of constant rumination on the past for future, you have to teach yourself how to stay in the present. The present is good; it is never in a hurry; it just is what it is; a clear, unpolished moment in time.

Sitting and Watching

Sitting on a bench near water is a wonderful moment in time. You can see the wonderful colors, you can watch fish jumping out of the lake taking a peek at life without water, you can just watch and breathe in and out; slow deep breaths that tell you this is a good place to be.

I Love You To The Moon and Back

The beauty of nature at its best in the winter. Mom would bundle us up to go out and play.

Loving you

When my mom passed, our family would talk about mom’s favorite sayings.

As a child I still remember mom telling us she was going to “give us a trip.” And if we mentioned where, she would always say, “to the moon.”

Growing up
As I aged, I never thought too much about her special ways and the special things she always said  until my niece told me that mom would tell her that she ” loved her to the moon and back.”

A Soft Smile and Gentle Touch

Whenever I think of my mother, I find myself flooded with memories that linger for a long time.
She did so much for me, and I am proud to be her daughter. I am here today because of her, not only in the physical sense, but in the mind, body and spiritual loving sense.
I grew up knowing that if you are good to others it will be returned. And I hope that my own children feel that I have taught them that lesson too; the lesson of kindness and harmony in one’s life.
A life where there is always a circling of loving spirit surrounding them so that they feel embraced all the time by my love.
