Waiting for the beautiful greens of warmer weather

Many of us give up on love; believing that they tried long enough; drawing a line in the sand that they will not step beyond. But if you are a believer in people; you know that we are all spiritual beings who move through life with ups and downs. And some downs in life may last longer than expected; bringing some good and some sadness in life’s adventures.

I don’t feel like a real person when I am depressed, and  something inside of me is trying to climb out and say,” stop it, I want to be happy.”

When you are depressed it is like playing a guitar but not hearing any sounds

Sunshiny Days

When I want a pick me up on a cloudy day, I walk in silence. It centers and balances me for the day

Do not let a day pass where you have not spent some of it in the warmth of sunlight. Being outdoors is so very healing that you really need to do it every single day of your life. The sunshine picks  you up; preventing depression and helping with mood changes. I know that when I do not get enough sunlight in the winter time, I feel slowed down and even sad, and a good pick me up is my mood light along with a telephone call to a friend who is an upbeat person. Just being around people who are positive can lift your mood.

I know that if one of my children were diagnosed, I would want something holistic for treatment. There are some studies and recommendations on how to help with childhood disorder. I have found 4 suggestions:

1.Changing the diet to a nutritious one that eliminates processed foods, sugar and dyes.

Depression Traps

I write a lot about ways to feel better about yourself. Many people fall into traps of depression and have a hard time finding ways that help.
Staying in the present is a good way to help yourself. Try to stop dwelling on past bad experiences or thinking about what the future may bring. If you stay grounded in the present, you will feel better. Think about what you can do today- right now – to help yourself out of a problem situation. Feeling unworthy or guilty about anything is not going  solve difficulties in life.
