As time moves toward the shorter days with quieter times of winter and coldness, you only see a few hardy birds because the little ones fly south for the warm weather and sunny days.

And you begin to see the wonder in the colorful  yellow and orange scenes and rich clover smells of autumn; promising yourself that you will love autumn and its wonder instead of dreading the winter that follows!

Colors that Energize

I love colors and the ones that I am most attracted to help me with my energy for the day.

If I really want a pick me up, I wear yellow or orange.

Yellows energize!

Yellows energize!

The Chinese attribute yellow to the moon; a lunar hare which represents rebirth, resurrection, intuition and
” light in darkness.” The hare is a yin animal and therefore is aligned with the feminine yin powers.
And in Christianity, yellow is considered a sacred color; associated with divinity and the color of the feast days of confessors.

Just a ride in the country

I was riding my bike on a country road and spotted a deer

The deer was prancing and dancing, stopped in a beautiful meadow and took a look at me, surrounded by beautiful green grass.

I thought it was just coincidental until he started to run along the side of me as I road my bike like he was riding along.

It was a moment in time; especially when he stayed along side of me, he did it 3 times, so I had to think he was trying to play with me. the colors and beauty of the deer froze me into the moment. I could not think of anything else for quite some time that day. All I could think was I wish I had my camera because no one will believe this one!

Memory of past events do not always appear clearly to most people, but significant things in one’s life are captured like a camera in the mind, some good and some bad.

Re-tell your story to yourself

I believe we have to recreate our memories to rid ourselves of some of the traumatic ones, but the good ones always stand true and can help you when you are blue. In my life, the good out number the bad by a significant number.
