Find Your Center

Staying centered is where you know that everything is in alignment. You are straight and tall with a smile and purposeful gait as you walk with a clip.

Birds know all about being straight, centered, yet soft and flowing

And when you are off a bit, you know it because everything is slightly out of focus. a slanted look at things you may be doing or a imbalance that may stay with you for the entire day.
As you glide through life today, concentrate on how you would like to be.
Emotionally ready for those conversations that may bring on a tear.

Life Loves’

Walking with you by the edge of the water

Walking with you by the water’s edge

When I heard someone speak on loves of a lifetime I thought, ” I never had that.” All of my loves in life left me by the wayside; struggling themselves with their own issues, claiming that I was the only one, but I was not.

Moving on…
“He was the love of my life,” is something you do not hear often because people just don’t stick it out with partners anymore. They may believe that the grass is greener or that there is something more than what they are experiencing right now and that is why they move on.

I remember a small white daisy that my granddaughter handed me with a gentle smile, “A gift for you grandma so that you can put it in water and have a nice flower for the rest of your day.” I thanked her, placing the flower in a pink vase; adding fresh water and a smile to my face.

Small gifts given with love are the most meaningful ones that you will ever receive with cherished moments that stay in your mind’s eye forever yours.

And because of gifting you have the special ability to give to yourself; a large gift of new beginnings any time you need to start over.

Sometimes you really have to look closely at something to see it

Seeing the beauty in breezy weeds

Seeing the beauty in breezy weeds

And sometimes you are looking too close and may be ruminating on things you do not have any control of.

Looking on the surface
You may glance at things that you should put some time into and then wonder why things do not turn out the way you planned.
With people too, looking at just the surface may bring you a minor glance at what is really there. And until you look deeper to find the specialness of each person, you may never know them very well.

Strong and Steady

When things fall apart in life, can you put them back together?

Broken barns

Broken barns

Sometimes broken objects can be fixed without any detection and other times you need to throw it away or save it in its broken state.
Every day I walk by some barns down my street. There are some homes in disrepair and others that are strong and sturdy.

Broken Barns

The funny thing about barns is that they can stay up broken, swaying in the wind, and no one seems to wonder why. Someone once told me that they have a center post that keeps the balance in a not so study structure. Just like we have a heart center that can be strong with evenness at our center; keeping us strong in mind, body and spirit.
