Empathic living

I try to put myself in your place and when I do, I begin to understand the way you feel about me. You are my reflection and it may be cloudy sometimes with all the foggy days in our lives when I thought we were one, but you were gone and I did not even know it. Gone in mind and spirit, but physically present for me to believe you were still here. And as I think of you, I cannot help believing that I am you too because you are a reflection of me and some of the bad times we have given each other. We are one, the same person reflecting the good and bad times.

Keeping it Simple

I don’t know how many times someone has told me to keep it simple, but I have to say that I really enjoy the simple things in life, especially in art.

Folk art and crafters are the oldest form of artistic, creative souls. And I say souls because they seem to bring out a spiritual way of expressing their crafts. You look, you gaze and you smile inside and out. The colors, the beauty, it wakes up your soul.

I would like to believe that it is possible to control every aspect of your life with a technique call moderation, but every once in awhile we have to do the unmentionable and have that ice cream cone!

On weight loss and maintenance

If you stay with it most of the time, occasionally going off the wagon so to speak,  will not harm your best efforts.

With diet, exercise and some good ways to control your stress in life,  staying healthy can be easy.

Staying Well and Healthy

Aromatherapy is great! Grow some herbs. The smell of lavender can calm and center you for the day.

Everyone that I know wants to stay healthy. But does everyone know how much work it can be to stay on track?

I have struggled with my weight my entire life, so I know how hard it is to keep the weight down to a level where I can feel well and healthy.

The many aspects of health include mind, body and spirit.
