Patient

Capture some color day and send its energy through you to others in a positive breath

Capture some color day and send its energy through you to others in a positive breath

Be patient today with yourself and others.
Stop rushing into things that need time to open; then you will see that patience truly is a virtue.
Live today in the moment, not in the past or future.
You cannot change anything that has happened to you in the past nor are you able to make your future dreams come true, they will just evolve like the opening of a red rose, slowly and gracefully.

Angels Soaring in a yellow flower

As winter approaches the colorful flowers disappear as do the birds except for the hardy black birds and  singing gulls who stay no matter what the weather.

We too have the hardiness of mind, body and spirit to be able to ride through the colder weather; bundling up with warm scarfs, hats and gloves. We feel the chill at first; shivering as the frosty weather surrounds us but then getting used to its waves of powerful storms and winds that chill.

Beautiful Thimbles

My mom thought that thimbles were beautiful, and had a collection of wooden ones that she displayed on a hutch in her dining room. I found one today as I was going through some things to give to the Good Will. I like giving to this charity because they put so many people to work. I strongly believe that working saved my life, and the lives of others who find pleasure in working hard.

The greatest work of my life is my children, and I find myself back to that spot in life myself as my children grow up and I now have grandchildren. The work of helping others never ends.

Color Yourself Happy

Blues are the most soothing of all colors. Just looking at water can calm you

When the days get longer, you may feel energized enough to wear brighter colors.

Can colors really get you out of a funk?

There is much theory on the power of color.

Warm Colors in the Winter Months

In the winter, many people feel that they need to wear dark colors such as deep purples, grays and blacks, and it seems natural due winter weather and styles!

Wearing Bright Color no matter what the Season!

Summer Blues

Sometimes we need something extra to help us get through the day. Something extra could be an extra walk to the park! When I am feeling down, I pick it up with the exercise routine. Adding something to my usual day. This seems to help with the down times. If that does not work, I also try adding some color to my day. Sometimes I just wear orange for a few days and that picks me up, or I wear some sparkling earrings or necklace or both.
