Grow up

When I hear the words, “grow up ”

Youth
And when you were young you probably thought that life was standing still for a long time; wishing to be older to do all those adult things.

The tender times when you were young, naïve and full of hope for your future.

The Older Years
And as you approach your older years you may feel that time is moving faster than you want it to.

Just Like Mom

I want to be like my mom because she was so tolerant of everyone, even those people who she should not have even spoken to, she never let them know how she felt. She was like her name; an angel who could not hurt anything; someone there for everyone.

Trees are just beautiful, even without spring buds. They dance in front of our eyes, as the blue sky peeks through

And it was not as if she was holding onto things or holding things inside, it was just the way she was.

Like puzzle pieces, stones fit together, but unlike a puzzle, you can stack stones without having to fit them a certain way

Each day become stronger in your practice of meditation.

Be as strong as a tree in your conviction to follow through with your practice of meditation because it will help you so very much.

Start out with mindful breathing in and breathing out; concentration begins with the breath.  You become one with your breath, never deviating from the moment where you are breathing in and breathing out. Staying in the mindful moments of your stillness of mind, body and spirit.

I have to say that I have a lot to be thankful for in my life. How thankful are you?

Is your path going the way you want it to? Or are you stuck in something right now that is making you less than thankful about life?

On being giving

I have so much love to give and receive from others. I try to be as giving as I can be on each and every day. I give everyone I meet the gift of a smile, and a kind word.

Becoming More Spiritual: When I learned how to meditate

It felt like forever before I was able to truly meditate

In yoga I taught others the philosophy and stillness of just being with your breath, but when it came to me, I just could not be calm and still enough to benefit from even a moment of stillness, until recently.

Just looking up at trees dancing in the breeze

But then it happened, I could not believe it because it was there right in front of me. It was like an awe moment where you say to yourself, why didn’t I get it sooner?
