The staff at the Mayo Clinic agree that when exposed to very cold temperatures, skin and its underlying tissue can freeze.

This freezing can result in frostbite.

Starting with ACNE: Some first steps to help

Most of the time acne is from too much sebum (oil) on the skin. This oil can  bring about bacteria, causing plugged hair follicles in skin pores.

If it lodges near the surface of the skin, blackheads and whiteheads will form. If a blockage rupture, it becomes a pimple.

Sometimes the problem is hormonal, stress, diet or irritating ingredients in makeup.
