Creative Things

Special Things

Look through your window of life. What do you see?

Look through your window of life. What do you see?

How Creative are you? Can you look at something and see the beauty?

Everyone is creative, they just may not know it. In order to stay healthy in mind, body and spirit, creative moments help.

Creativity comes in all areas of living. You do not have to be an artist to be creative.
Creative thinking is involved in all aspects of life. Are you good with your money? Do you know how to save or invest? This can be your creative side.
Even people who work with computers will tell you that sometimes you have to be a very creative soul to find out what may be ailing a computer; not just viruses.

The Frozen Pond at Taylor Park, Hamburg,  NY: It looks so still and peaceful this time of year

Add some challenges to your life. Add photography to your adventures.

Some new ideas

If you are bored or discontent with life as it is, add some new things that challenge your life.

I try to do something different every now and then to add spice to my life. And when it gets old,  I move on to other challenges, ( most of the time.)

Getting it Right

Sometimes I just like to sit and think about things instead of talking.

Getting it right is not always easy. You may have to struggle for many years trying to say and do the right things. You may even think that you are right, and find out later that you were really off course with what you did. Sometimes you don’t even know that you are traveling down the wrong path until someone tells you, and even then you may not believe that you are wrong!

Focusing On Present Moments

Nov 6th, 2013 Posted in Mental Wellness | no comment »

When it seems like you are all over the place, it may be time to pick a focus. Plan to concentrate on one thing at a time, and you will find life is easier.
I am a constant offender of trying new things and never abandoning them. I hold on too long and then find it hard to give up on any new projects.
If this is you, you may want to pick one and stay in the present moment with it.
For a few months I have been trying to do just that. I am trying to be one- pointed; having everything linked to my main plan in some way, shape or form. If it does not fit in, I try to put it to the side.
I have to admit that I have not put everything to the side, but I am trying.
I believe that learning how to meditate has helped me a lot with the present. I focus on my breath and many things become clear.
The daily tasks still have to happen. You cannot abandon some of your duties such as taking out the trash or cooking a meal. You still need to do those present moment things in life. But your goal becomes this present moment, focused entity that you are striving toward. This plan has a beginning, middle and end.
The ending may be difficult, but remember that all things must come to an end; the good, bad and ugly of living in the present.
