You may start out very well the first couple of weeks on a wellness plan, and then what happens?

You may need to make your planning more specific. It has been studied that people who not only plan their goals, but write them down are more successful at attainment.

I have finally found my groove when it comes to staying healthy, but I had to make numerous lifestyle changes in order to attain my goals.

Are you Restricting Yourself From The Foods You Enjoy?

It is  true that every time you restrict food from your diet (such as chocolate), you are setting yourself up for a binge!

 

Some believe that this craving is actually an addiction. And the body will automatically binge in proportion to how much and how long you have restricted yourself.

Over and over again, the same negative thought… when will I learn to stay in the positive moment of life?

When I was a child, an art teacher taught me about patterns. Ever since then I have been amazed by any kind of pattern. Look at these pots, each one is painted differently. Different designs, different colors, but they are all stacked the same way, over and over again, just another pattern of life.

Don’t let your life go up in smoke. Find ways to change the behaviors that are getting in the way of your health and wellness. Take the doorway to health. Walk through it and find ways to quit smoking or other bad behaviors.

 

I believe that we all can use a few changes in our lives.

If you have difficulty with a bad habit, or addiction, you should seek out help.

Cigarette smoking and alcohol addiction are two  behaviors that you may need help with in order to quit. There are help lines, support groups and your MD can also prescribe you some medication that can help you through the difficult times.

The season is changing, and maybe you need to make some changes too!

Do you believe that some people are just lucky and good things happen to them? It is a nice thought, but most people make their own luck through hard work and dedication to a cause. And the cause may be their own personal goals.

I find that every year I write down at least 5 goals that I want to accomplish. I try to make them very realistic. Reaching for the stars may be setting yourself up for failure.
