The next time you are trying to change yourself, begin with a confident persona

There is something about someone who is a leader; confident in their approach, able to live life well in mind, body and soul along with a confident speech pattern that people listen to. Even their walk is self-confident; head straight, shoulders back and a purposeful, bouncy gait that others try to emulate.

are you taking the needed steps toward a more confident you?

Working on your self- confidence can include your self-esteem; that internal self-worth that you know is there in your mind and spirit helping you prepare for confident moments.

Accepting changes in your life

It is easy to tell someone else to stay hopeful because if something bad is not happening to you, you may not be able to put yourself in the other person’s shoes, even when you really want to help.

Gardens can be beautiful. Plant a garden into your soul

It is easier to tell someone else that things will get better but remember that things may not get better for the person you are comforting. If you or someone else is grieving, it is a process which take time to get through, and the steps toward wellness are slow but purposeful. You need to get through things at your own pace.

Youthful ways

Examining life close up

Examining life close up

In youth  it was difficult to have confidence in myself, especially during difficult times. I would struggle trying to get by, hiding some of my flaws through laughter and a talkative nature.

Aging brings about needed confidence

As an older adult, there is no need  inside my heart center to call on my perfect ways that are not so perfect.

Today, I am who I am; crying, laughing, and even giggling like a child having a good time as I walk strong down the path of life.

One more time

Add a movement and momentum to your day by finding something in your vision to do with yourself that takes the entire day. Not work but working in the garden could be an idea. And movement can include some relaxation along with it. Dancing, prancing, swimming and relaxing all become part of a wonderful day with the added benefit to your mind, body and soul.

What makes you happy?

You may think that you need someone in your life to make you happy but that is not one of the ingredients for happiness. Happiness is internal; first you have to be happy with yourself, and if you are not; change the things you need to change to make things good for you.
