Fixing things

I want to fix everything; making life better for myself and others, but sometimes you cannot, it is just too broken to fix

Bricks are strong; made to last forever, but sometimes they fall down and are in need of repair

I found a piece of shattered glass today; shiny blue and crystal white. It must have been from a automobile accident along the highway. I had passed these shattered pieces of glass a few days ago but today I picked a piece up that was triangular in shape to place in my window; catching some rays of the sun.

I was very surprised that there were no sharp edges to cut me as I felt around this thick, tempered glass of a windshield that had shattered.
I hoped that no one was hurt in the accident, and they have long since fixed their car to perfect condition or at least a fixable re-make of what once was their car.

When I think of things that need fixing, my mind, body and soul come to greet me saying, “You can go on, let go of some of those things that are not fixable and find your place to love and live life well. Because all there really is in life is love.”

Even when you lose in love, at least you had the chance to feel the deepness of an ocean sending sparkling blue waters your way. And when you win in love; everything seems to fall into place like a giant puzzle with you placing the last piece gently into place with a smile.
