Quietly Struggling through life

When I was young I used to believe in forever

When I saw this flower yesterday on September 10th, I thought of the strength of a single rose rising above catching the sunlight

When I saw this flower yesterday on September 10th, I thought of the strength of a single rose rising above catching the sunlight

When I got older, I realized that forever was not possible for many things in life. Just like a rose, it may look perfect today, but tomorrow brings a different kind of beauty and the edges may be a bit torn, but its beauty still rises strong and balanced for a short time.

Beginnings
If you begin to realize that everything has a beginning, middle and ending, things will become less of a struggle in life.
When people move toward middle age which is really only about 40 or a few year less, they may begin this struggle with feelings of loss and grief at some of the things missed in life.

And if you do not stop at that point and change your direction in life to do the things you want or need to do, there may be regrets later on.

And then all of a sudden you are 70 and wishing you had flown that plane or went to Hawaii!

Struggling

Life has its many struggles, and just like the rose, you can rise above it, catching your own sunlight; feeling the tender young years passing but finding the older years to be solid and good with special times with family and friends. If you do not fill your bucket list, find ways to like what is in your bucket right now.
Do not struggle worrying about your future and what you have not done. Begin today to concentrate on what you can do right now that will help you to struggle less and smile more.

Pick your battles closely, and do not struggle with things you know that you will never be a part of. Find small ways to be happy, like smelling the scent of a pink rose, or petting a kitten. Those are the special times in life that seem to be forgotten.

Healing Ways

Develop some healing ways for yourself where you learn how to relax, concentrate on your breath and just breathe in and out, slowing yourself down so that you can catch the wonders of the world that is before you because no one knows how long they will be here so you should spend each moment as it comes down your path in wonder of your next breath.
